File this in the ‘Wish I’d Thought of That’ category. Such a simple idea and design by Amanda Buckley - love it.

The Shylight by Ralph Nauta and Lonneke Gordijn is a thing of real beauty. Love it when art and design fuse in this way… what do you think?

New Zealand Father and Daughter team, Douglas and Bec Snelling, have designed this simple but striking range of furniture and lighting. New Zealand’s design industry seems to be thriving at the moment, don’t you think?

Christopher Poehlmann's LiveEdge Table
Another one that has split opinion here at Maison Instyle. Christopher Poehlmann produces some amazing lighting, but for me this one seems a touch ‘style over function’. That’s not without its own merit, of course, but I prefer a piece to serve a purpose beyond the aesthetic.

This is all very surreal but very very cool too. We’ll certainly be looking out for more Gitta Gschwendtner. Love it. What do you think?
